If you are looking for someone who can teach you the basics of survival in nature, how to take care of yourself and others in the wilderness, how to navigate using just a needle, leaf and water, and many other unique skills, Carl is your guy! He is truly passionate about what he does and is very experienced (as a former soldier). He is also very funny, keeps your attention throughout the whole course, and leaves you with a great feeling at the end of the day. If you want to learn something new and practical, definitely give this course a try! It’s a great option both for students and as a team building activity.
No dry theory at a computer, this was a real life masterclass in the wilderness. Carl Dobson taught us how to handle the actual crises you might face on the trail. I especially appreciate his professional approach and the unique humor he uses to lighten the mood. If you want to feel confident and safe in the wild, Carl’s courses are the clear choice. I met Carl at the DOFE Leader Camp a few years ago and I found his survival course really useful, so I invited him to provide the same course for our students. The students and adults really enjoyed the course and appreciated all the new things which they learned there. Next I asked Carl to come and do the self-defence course which was an enormous success.
